Bollywood actor Lara Dutta has stunned one and all with her new look in the recently released trailer of the upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer titled Bell Bottom. The actress managed to leave fans and netizens impressed with her unrecognisable look as the former Indian Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. After the release of the trailer, netizens took to Twitter to express astonishment. Now, Lara Dutta opens up about the reaction of her husband Mahesh Bhupathi. The actress shares that her husband was shocked.
Speaking with Zoom, Lara Dutt said that her husband Mahesh Bhupati felt very unsettled with her Indira Gandhi look. She revealed how her husband told her he does not want to hug her. Lara said, “My husband was shocked. He probably felt very unsettled with the look. He was like I don’t want to hug you. You don’t really look like yourself.”
The actress revealed that her daughter Saira was intrigued by her look. Lara shared how her daughter reacted and said, “She saw it come alive in front of her... She came in and she saw whole silicon on my face and said, ‘Mum they are going to kill you, you can’t breathe.’ She was so worried. Ya, but having said that, she was also very intrigued and was like, ‘Can I touch the nose, the eyebrows? Can I do this, that?’”
While talking to SpotboyE.com, the actress shared that she received the best reaction on her Indira Gandhi look from her father. Lara revealed that her daughter Saira connected the most with co-star Akshay Kumar’s daughter Nitara on the sets in Scotland.
